On Sunday October 16^th Local Option will be celebrating its 25^th anniversary. That evening The Local Option will be giving away two (2) tickets for Chicago stop of the Heritage North America Tour featuring Swedish progressive metal legends OPETH. In addition to having its very own Dampf Loc on draft, Local Option’s 25th anniversary will feature 30 other obscure, quality beers from around the world on draft; music from OPETH and many other heavy and progressive metal bands from the 1970s forward.  Winners of the blind draw will be announced at midnight as Metal Monday commences.

 

The Opeth concert itself occurs on Friday October 28^th at the Vic Theater.  Local Option and Opeth have teamed up with Jam Productions to make Dampf Loc available for purchase at The Vic Theater during the concert, bringing great metal and quality, local beer under one roof for the Chicago metal community.
