Legendary Patti Smith guitarist and self confessed Opeth fan Lenny Kaye has mentioned his recent Midsummer's eve encounter with Opeth in his recent tour blog found at http://lennykaye.com/. The band and Lenny first met in Greece a few years back and has kept in touch since.

We are pleased to announce that we will be doing a Swedish Tour this coming November and December, starting in Malmö on November 29 and concluding in Norrköping on December 7. The shows in Göteborg on December 2 & 3 plus the Stockhoilm shows on December 4 & 5 will be 'Unplugged' shows.

Mikael has recorded some vocals in collaboration with legendary Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett. Mikael is featured on a re-recording of the classic mega-epos "Supper's ready" from 1972's "Foxtrot" album. Watch this space for further details about the upcoming release

Due to popular demand Mikael has recorded 8 further shows for Swedish national radio. "De bortglömda mästerverken" (The forgotten masterpieces) is a series of shows where Mikael flips vinyl on air, playing mostly obscure progressive and psychedelic rock.
